Celebrated as Central Ohio’s premier all-professional chamber choir, LancasterChorale has established its role as a vital force in choral music by performing challenging repertoire drawn from the rich treasury of the past, presenting new works to inspire the American public to more fully understand its present, and supporting educational programming with young singers to promote the future of the choral arts. Engaging the region’s leading professional vocal artists, the ensemble garners high praise in the public and the media for its beauty of tone, musical integrity, remarkable blend, and creativity in programming.

Each of our three concert programs per season is purposely designed to appeal to both the longtime music enthusiast and those being introduced to the rich 500-year story of the choral arts of our western culture! The organization sponsors, inspires, and educates its own standing youth chorus of 20 children who are learning weekly how to be creative, responsive to artistic instruction and refinement, confident in communicating with others, and passionate about the music they perform for the public.

Artistic Director, Dr. Stephen Caracciolo, is an academically trained, experienced, and well-connected professional conductor who brings a vibrant vision for music programming to each season of concerts. Dr. Caracciolo is nationally recognized as a published choral composer and arranger, with works actively promoted by several key American publishing houses.
